MONSEY — In a significant development for the local Tosh community, the hanhala of Mosdos Tosh in Monsey has signed a contract to purchase a large building that will serve as the new home for its rapidly growing cheder, Talmud Torah D’Tosh.
Founded just a few years ago, the Talmud Torah has B"H experienced tremendous growth. Until now, the mosad has been operating out of a rented facility. However, with the steady increase in the number of talmidim, the hanhala recognized the urgent need to secure a larger, permanent building that can accommodate the cheder for years to come.
B'siyata d'shmaya, a highly suitable property was located on Highview Street in Monsey. The campus features a large three-story building situated on a spacious lot. The new facility boasts airy classrooms, a spacious Beis Medrash, a chadar ochel, and various other amenities. This will allow the mosad to provide an ideal svivas halimudim for the talmidim and further expand its avodas hakodesh of Torah and chinuch.
The contract signing marks a major milestone for Mosdos Tosh in Monsey, bringing the kehillah one step closer to its goal of establishing a permanent, self-owned home capable of facilitating its continued expansion.
