Tragedy in Beitar Illit: A horrific incident claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy after he was struck by debris from an exploding garbage bin.


Hatzalah received an emergency call at approximately 5:00 p.m. reporting an incident on Rechov Rebbe MiNadvorna. Paramedics who rushed to the scene found the child unconscious and suffering from severe injuries. He was immediately transported to Hadassah Hospital, where he tragically passed away.


According to officials, a fire had broken out inside a recycling container. The blaze triggered an explosion that sent a heavy piece of debris flying through the air, fatally striking the young boy who happened to be standing nearby.
