Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning during a CBS interview, reinforcing President Donald Trump’s recent message that Hamas must fully disarm or face severe consequences.

“As President Trump said, if Hamas fails to disarm, all hell breaks loose,” Netanyahu declared, referencing the 20-point Gaza peace framework that mandates complete demilitarization of the territory as a condition for reconstruction and long-term stability.

The U.S.-brokered peace plan, signed in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, outlines a phased roadmap for hostage release, humanitarian rebuilding, and regional security guarantees, contingent upon Hamas surrendering its remaining weapons and missile stockpiles.

Netanyahu’s remarks signal strong Israeli alignment with the Trump administration’s position, which warns that non-compliance could trigger renewed military action and the loss of reconstruction aid.

Officials say Phase Two of the agreement—focused on debris removal and infrastructure rebuilding—will not proceed unless Hamas verifiably disarms under international monitoring.

The comment underscores the fragile balance of the post-ceasefire peace effort, as both Washington and Jerusalem emphasize that lasting peace in Gaza hinges on ending militant control once and for all.
