Williamsburg Shomrim Assist NYPD in Recovering Stolen Vehicle in Queens

WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Shomrim assisted the NYPD in locating a stolen vehicle in Queens after it was taken from the Williamsburg area, according to a report from Williamsburg News.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen near Bedford Avenue and Penn Street. A laptop was also allegedly taken from the vehicle during the incident.
Following the theft, Williamsburg Shomrim became involved in efforts to locate the missing vehicle and worked alongside law enforcement as the search continued beyond the neighborhood.
The vehicle was ultimately located in Queens, where NYPD officers responded. Photos from the recovery showed police examining the vehicle at the scene.
The vehicle sustained damage before it was recovered but was subsequently returned to its owner, according to the initial report.
The incident is another example of the ongoing coordination between Williamsburg Shomrim and local law enforcement in responding to thefts and other public-safety incidents affecting the community.
