Tyler Oliveira, the controversial YouTuber whose videos about Orthodox Jewish communities have drawn accusations of antisemitism, was reportedly seen in several Jewish communities again this week, including Lakewood, Brooklyn and New Square.

Local reports said Oliveira returned to Lakewood on Wednesday, August 26, where he was reportedly approaching residents and schools while working with a film crew. A Lakewood community report advised residents not to engage with him and to contact police if he entered private property or refused to leave.

By Wednesday afternoon, Oliveira was reportedly in New Square in Rockland County after having been in Brooklyn the previous day. Monsey Scoop reported that he had been in Lakewood earlier that day and said residents were being advised not to engage with him.

A video circulating from the New Square appearance shows Oliveira walking along a residential street while carrying what appears to be filming equipment and a folder. The footage itself establishes his presence but does not, by itself, establish what he was filming or his intentions.

The latest appearances come months after Oliveira released videos focusing on Orthodox Jewish communities in Kiryas Joel and Lakewood. His January video about Kiryas Joel was criticized for invoking stereotypes about Jewish welfare dependence, while his February video about Lakewood prompted further backlash and accusations that it amplified antisemitic tropes.

The controversy surrounding Oliveira has also extended beyond local communities. In May, Israel barred him from entering the country, with Israel's Diaspora Affairs Minister accusing him of seeking to spread hatred, according to reports at the time.

For now, the purpose and planned scope of Oliveira's latest filming in the Jewish communities remain unclear. The latest local reports establish his presence in the communities but do not establish what his upcoming video will contain.
