Israeli Defense Forces carried out a decisive operation in northern Gaza on December 25, delivering a significant blow to Hamas’ underground terror infrastructure and eliminating dozens of militants operating near the Israeli border.

During the operation, IDF units dismantled more than four kilometers of Hamas tunnel networks in the areas of Jabaliya, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahiya. These tunnels were embedded deep within civilian zones and were used by Hamas for movement, weapons storage, and attacks against Israeli communities.
