Israel’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Jonathan Miller, delivered a stark message during a UN Security Council session, declaring that Hamas has no intention of ceding control over Gaza through peaceful negotiation.

Citing the militant group’s repeated rejection of ceasefire proposals and referencing the disturbing images of Evyatar David and Rom Braslavski — victims whose deaths have become emblematic of Hamas’s brutality — Miller emphasized that these acts reveal “yet another aspect of the organization’s monstrosity.”
