RAFAH, GAZA – A newly surfaced video has reignited concerns about the United Nations’ relationship with Hamas, showing terrorists making use of UN-marked vehicles inside a UNRWA logistics compound in Eastern Rafah.
The footage, which has circulated widely on social media, depicts armed men identified as Hamas operatives moving near clearly marked UN vehicles. Several individuals — highlighted in red circles in the video — appear to be handling weapons in close proximity to UN facilities.
Israeli officials and commentators have long accused UN agencies, particularly UNRWA, of turning a blind eye to Hamas’ exploitation of humanitarian infrastructure. The video has bolstered those claims, with critics saying it demonstrates a dangerous overlap between UN operations and terrorist activity.
“Never again can anyone claim the UN isn’t working hand in hand with Hamas,” one Israeli security source said, pointing to the footage as clear evidence of UN resources being compromised by the terror group.
The incident comes amid intensified IDF operations in Gaza, where Israel continues its campaign to dismantle Hamas’ military infrastructure while allowing humanitarian aid to flow in. Israeli leaders have repeatedly warned that Hamas systematically diverts international assistance, using it to sustain its war machine rather than help civilians.
The United Nations has not yet responded to the latest allegations, but Israeli officials insist the video underscores the urgent need for strict oversight of aid operations in Gaza to ensure they do not serve as cover for terrorism.
