Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a warning to Ukraine, saying Moscow would pursue its objectives by force if Kyiv remained unwilling to resolve the conflict peacefully. His remarks came as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with U.S. President Donald Trump in Florida for high-level discussions on ending the war.

Speaking through comments carried by Russia’s state news agency TASS, Putin said Ukraine was “in no hurry for peace,” adding that Russia would “accomplish all its goals” regardless of Kyiv’s position if negotiations failed.

The statement followed a large-scale Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine, which Ukrainian authorities said targeted energy infrastructure and military-related facilities. The strike marked one of the most significant aerial assaults in recent weeks and underscored the continued intensity of the conflict despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.
