WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump said in a recent statement that the United States played a key role in helping China achieve its freedom, but claimed America has not been properly acknowledged for its efforts.

Speaking about his latest post on Truth Social, Trump remarked: “I put out a Truth last night… They were hoping I was watching — and I was watching. We helped China very much, as you know. I don’t believe that America, that the United States was acknowledged for helping China to gain its freedom.”
