Jared Kushner, senior advisor and key architect of President Trump’s Middle East peace initiatives, delivered an optimistic message during his recent visit to the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) overseeing the peace and reconstruction process in Gaza.

Standing before U.S., Israeli, and regional representatives, Kushner said the success of the fragile peace agreement depends on sustained cooperation and shared vision.

“Everyone believes that it is possible to create something better in Gaza,” Kushner said. “If we all work hard to do that, I do believe a great outcome is possible.”

The CMCC — established under the U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire signed on October 14, 2025 — serves as a central hub for monitoring compliance, coordinating humanitarian assistance, and supporting reconstruction efforts in the war-torn enclave.

Kushner’s remarks underscore the Trump administration’s effort to maintain momentum in the early stages of its Middle East peace plan, which aims to transition Gaza from conflict to stability through phased disarmament of Hamas, international aid coordination, and economic redevelopment.

Officials described the CMCC as a model for collaborative post-conflict stabilization, integrating civilian and military oversight to ensure transparency, safety, and efficiency in aid delivery.

Kushner praised the dedication of on-ground personnel, including representatives from Israel, Egypt, and Jordan, as well as U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff, who has been instrumental in implementing the ceasefire framework.

Analysts note that Kushner’s visit and message of unity aim to reinforce confidence in the peace process, even as challenges persist in securing long-term security and reconstruction.

“The fact that all parties are working under one roof toward a common goal is significant,” said one official familiar with CMCC operations. “It’s a tangible sign that diplomacy, when sustained, can create real results.”
