The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley, striking multiple targets linked to the group’s ongoing reconstruction of its military infrastructure. Between October 15 and 19, the IDF conducted a series of precision strikes aimed at crippling Hezbollah’s ability to rebuild combat and logistical facilities destroyed in earlier conflicts.

According to the IDF, the strikes focused on infrastructure sites, engineering equipment, and materials used to restore the group’s operational capacity. Among the targets was a quarry in the Ansar–Mazraat Sinay area of the Nabatieh District, identified as belonging to the “Al-Majabel” concrete production company. The facility reportedly supplied concrete for rebuilding Hezbollah’s military structures that had previously been hit in Israeli operations.

The IDF also destroyed a large reservoir containing approximately half a million liters of diesel fuel, as well as a Hezbollah site allegedly operating under the guise of the civilian environmental organization “Green Without Borders.” The organization has long been accused by Israeli intelligence of providing cover for Hezbollah’s border activities and infrastructure expansion.

Most of the recent strikes occurred north of the Litani River, within the operational zone of Hezbollah’s Badr Unit — now considered the group’s central command hub following severe damage to the Nasr and Aziz Units located farther south.

South of the Litani, Israeli forces eliminated two Hezbollah operatives reportedly involved in reconstruction efforts; one of them was operating a tractor at the time of the strike. In a separate operation in the Beqaa region near the town of Shmustar, the IDF targeted underground sites used by Hezbollah to store weapons and military equipment.

The operations are part of Israel’s broader campaign to prevent Hezbollah from restoring its wartime capabilities and to disrupt the group’s entrenchment across Lebanon’s southern and eastern regions. Israeli officials have stated that the strikes are calibrated to reduce civilian harm while targeting assets directly supporting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure.

Regional observers note that Hezbollah’s efforts to rebuild north of the Litani reflect a strategic shift following sustained damage in southern Lebanon. The organization is reportedly concentrating its resources in less exposed areas, using civilian front companies to disguise its reconstruction operations.

The IDF has vowed to continue monitoring and striking Hezbollah’s rebuilding efforts as part of its deterrence strategy, warning that any renewed buildup of military infrastructure will be met with “decisive action.”
