New York City police are investigating a violent antisemitic assault that left an Israeli tourist hospitalized with a brain bleed after being sucker punched in Midtown Manhattan. The victim, 59-year-old Rami Glikstein from Jerusalem, was attacked near the popular kosher deli Mr. Broadway on West 38th Street around 12:40 p.m., according to police and eyewitness accounts.

Authorities say the attacker—described as a man dressed entirely in black—approached Glikstein on the street, knocked off his yarmulke, and stomped on it while shouting, “What the f— is your religion?” Moments later, the assailant turned back, punched Glikstein in the face, and fled the scene. The attack sent the victim to the ground, leaving him bloodied and disoriented as bystanders rushed to help.
