The individual who courageously tackled and disarmed one of the attackers during the December 14, 2025, terror attack at a Hanukkah event on Bondi Beach has been identified as Ahmed El Ahmed. The 43-year-old Muslim shopkeeper and father of two sustained two gunshot wounds during the incident and is currently recovering in the hospital following surgery.
