TAMPA, Fla. — The U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) confirmed that a U.S. surveillance drone captured video of Hamas operatives looting a humanitarian aid truck in Gaza, the latest example of the terrorist group’s exploitation of international relief meant for civilians.

According to a CMCC statement, the incident occurred on October 31 near northern Khan Younis, when a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone observed suspected Hamas militants attacking an aid convoy delivering supplies from international partners. The operatives reportedly assaulted the truck’s driver, forced him onto the roadside median, and drove off with both the aid and the vehicle. The driver’s condition remains unknown.

The aid shipment was part of a broader humanitarian operation coordinated by nearly 40 nations and international organizations working through the CMCC. The center, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, has been overseeing the safe delivery of food, medicine, and other essentials to Gazans under a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Over the past week alone, international partners have delivered more than 600 aid and commercial trucks daily into Gaza.

Officials say the theft directly undermines those global efforts — and further validates Israel’s long-standing warnings that Hamas systematically diverts and exploits humanitarian resources.
