A dangerous high-speed chase through East Los Angeles on Sunday ended with two suspects in custody — and an unusual twist.

According to authorities, the pursuit began after officers attempted to stop a vehicle linked to a suspected crime. During the chase, the driver switched into a second car, attempting to evade law enforcement.

Helicopter footage captured the tense moments as both vehicles sped through city streets, narrowly avoiding collisions with other drivers and pedestrians. The chase ultimately ended when police boxed in the second car and took the suspects into custody without further incident.

No injuries were reported, but officials say the reckless driving posed significant danger to the public. The suspects now face multiple charges, including felony evasion.
