Widespread unrest erupted in Lqliaa, Morocco, as hundreds of young protesters clashed with security forces, setting fire to a police station amid growing anger over social and economic inequality.

CCTV footage captured scenes of protesters hurling stones and Molotov cocktails at the security outpost as flames engulfed the building. The latest violence marks the fifth consecutive day of demonstrations that have swept through parts of the country.

Authorities confirmed that three young protesters were killed during the clashes, further fueling public outrage. In a televised address, Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch appealed for calm and urged both sides to pursue “dialogue and national unity” to resolve the escalating crisis.

Local reports indicate that several areas remain tense, with security forces deployed to prevent further violence. Civil society groups have called for government reforms and better opportunities for youth, citing high unemployment and rising living costs as root causes of the unrest.
