GAZA — A growing wave of outrage is spreading online following the circulation of video evidence showing Hamas operatives intercepting and stealing UN aid trucks intended for civilians in Gaza. The footage, compiled in a viral social media thread, challenges ongoing claims that Israel is responsible for aid shortfalls in the region.

“Stop lying and blaming it on Israel. This is why the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) must exist,” one prominent user posted, echoing the frustration of many who believe the international system—especially UN aid mechanisms—is being exploited by terrorists.

The thread, which has garnered millions of views, shows multiple incidents where armed Hamas members forcibly divert convoys marked with UN insignia. Observers say this pattern of abuse confirms longstanding concerns that Hamas is hijacking humanitarian assistance and using it for leverage and propaganda.

The GHF, which is backed by the United States and Israel, has reportedly delivered over 95 million meals directly to Gazan civilians—bypassing corrupt intermediaries and minimizing interference.

“This is not about denying aid to Gaza. It’s about making sure the aid reaches the people who need it—not the terror groups,” said one U.S. official familiar with the initiative.
