Israeli airstrikes struck multiple high-profile targets in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, causing widespread damage and disruptions, according to regional reports.

Military sources stated that four key sites were hit: the Presidential Palace, two power stations, and a fuel depot. The strikes involved around 12 Israeli aircraft, which reportedly dropped about 35 munitions. Due to the long distance to the heart of Sanaa, several mid-air refuelings were required to complete the mission.

The Presidential Palace sustained heavy structural damage, while the city’s power supply was severely impacted following direct hits on critical infrastructure. Residents reported blackouts across large sections of the capital, alongside fuel shortages triggered by the depot strike.

The airstrikes mark one of the most extensive Israeli operations against targets in Yemen, reflecting growing regional escalation tied to Iran-backed groups operating from the country.
