The Danish Armed Forces have launched major joint military exercises in Greenland, alongside several NATO allies.
The drills, called Arctic Light 2025, involve France, Germany, Sweden, and Norway, with coordinated operations taking place at sea, on land, and in the air.
Officials say the exercises are aimed at strengthening joint response capabilities and enhancing cooperation in the increasingly strategic Arctic region. The operation underscores NATO’s continued focus on readiness and defense in the High North amid rising global tensions.
