Newly resurfaced footage has emerged showing Tyler Robinson, the alleged killer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, during a traffic incident in 2022.
The video, obtained by Scripps News, shows Robinson speaking with an officer after his silver Audi collided with a Ford sedan while making a left turn at an intersection in Utah. At the time, Robinson was 19 years old.
“As I was coming through, he turned in, and I T-boned into the side of him,” Robinson explained in the clip. Wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, he appeared calm while describing the incident — an outfit similar to what he reportedly wore while fleeing the scene after allegedly killing Kirk on September 10, 2025.
Robinson’s brother, also present at the crash, can be seen in the footage. Fortunately, both brothers and the other driver escaped without injuries, and no citations were issued at the time.
The resurfaced video has drawn new attention to Robinson’s past as the investigation into Kirk’s assassination continues. Authorities have not commented on whether the 2022 crash holds any relevance to the ongoing case.
