A groundbreaking defense system has showcased its capabilities in dramatic fashion, taking down dozens of drones with perfect accuracy during a live test.

Epirus, a U.S.-based defense technology company, demonstrated its Leonidas high-power microwave system in a recent live-fire exercise. According to the company, the system successfully disabled 61 out of 61 attacking drones, achieving a 100% success rate.

The weapon uses directed energy to instantly disrupt and neutralize drones mid-flight, causing them to fall from the sky without the need for traditional munitions.
