Texas Republican Rep. Pat Fallon weighed in on the recent indictment of former FBI Director James Comey, calling the case proof that Comey was “dirty all along.” Fallon made the remarks during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Big Weekend Show.”
In addition to discussing Comey’s legal troubles, Fallon also commented on the ongoing Biden autopen investigation, criticizing what he described as a lack of transparency and accountability within federal institutions.
Fallon argued that the Comey indictment highlights deep-rooted problems inside the FBI and claimed it validates concerns long raised by conservatives about political bias within the bureau.
The former FBI director faces two federal charges and could face up to five years in prison if convicted. His case has intensified partisan debate in Washington, with Republicans pointing to misconduct and Democrats questioning the political motivations behind the prosecution.
