Tel Aviv — In a renewed effort to combat misinformation surrounding Israel’s ongoing military operations in Gaza, IDF Spokesperson Nadav Shoshani delivered a pointed briefing today, tackling what he described as persistent myths and presenting what he called the uncomfortable truths behind Israel’s war effort.

"This is a war, I remind you, that began with the atrocious attack of October 7th, and it is not ending because Hamas is holding our hostages and refusing to put their weapons down," said Shoshani during a televised address.

The spokesperson emphasized that the humanitarian toll of the conflict, while deeply regrettable, lies at the feet of Hamas — not the Israeli military.
