A Ferrari driver in Canada found themselves in hot water after being pulled over for allegedly speeding to their own birthday party.

According to York Regional Police, the luxury car was clocked at nearly double the posted speed limit, prompting officers to initiate a traffic stop. When questioned, the driver admitted they were rushing to celebrate their birthday and even pleaded with officers to “just give them a ticket.”

Police have not disclosed the driver’s identity but confirmed that the violation could result in severe penalties, including fines, demerit points, or even vehicle impoundment depending on the speed recorded.

Authorities used the incident to remind the public that speeding is one of the leading causes of fatal collisions in Ontario and urged drivers to prioritize safety over celebrations.
