The Israeli military announced that it carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh region earlier today, targeting positions linked to Hezbollah. The strikes mark a new escalation along the Israel–Lebanon border as tensions between the two sides continue to intensify.

In an official statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, “The Hezbollah terror organization continues its attempts to rebuild terrorist infrastructure throughout Lebanon,” adding that such activity violates existing understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF emphasized that it will continue to act against any efforts by Hezbollah to strengthen its military presence near the border. The latest strikes come amid growing regional instability and warnings from international observers about the risk of broader conflict.
