President Donald Trump announced the creation of a dedicated White House Task Force to support preparations for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

“Thank you all for being here as we take a major step to ensure the U.S. is fully prepared to welcome the world to Los Angeles for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games,” Trump said during the announcement. “Today, I will sign an Executive Order establishing the White House Task Force on the 2028 Summer Olympics.”
