Providence police have released a brief video showing the suspect in the December 13, 2025, shooting at Brown University in Rhode Island. The footage captures an individual, described as wearing dark clothing and estimated to be in his 30s, walking and rounding a corner shortly after the attack.

The shooting, which occurred on campus during finals week, has left at least two people dead and nine others wounded. Authorities continue to search for the suspect, who remains at large.

Investigators noted that they currently do not have images of the suspect entering the Barus & Holley Engineering building, nor do they have a clear image of the suspect’s face. Police have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could assist in locating the individual.

Law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are assisting Providence police in the ongoing investigation. Security measures have been heightened across campus and surrounding areas as officials work to ensure public safety while attempting to apprehend the shooter.
