In a crime that sounds straight out of a heist movie, burglars in Washington State broke into a Starbucks by tunneling through a vacant neighboring shop — and emerging in the coffee shop’s bathroom.

Police say the suspects bypassed traditional entry points entirely, using the vacant store as cover before making their way through the wall. Once inside, they reportedly targeted cash and merchandise before fleeing the scene.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and believe the unusual break-in method may indicate the burglars had prior knowledge of the building’s layout. Starbucks staff discovered the breach the following morning.
