MARYLAND — Eyewitness footage has surfaced showing a tense moment during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrest in Maryland on September 24.

The video captures an ICE agent dropping his firearm during the arrest before quickly retrieving it and raising it in the direction of nearby bystanders. Witnesses said the bystanders appeared to be attempting to interfere with the arrest.

The incident comes amid heightened criticism of the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement tactics, which have drawn both strong support and sharp opposition across the country.

ICE has not yet released an official statement regarding the Maryland incident, though the footage has already sparked debate online about safety protocols and the handling of enforcement operations in public areas.
