A high-speed chase through the San Fernando Valley came to a dramatic end Wednesday night after California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers executed two Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuvers in quick succession. The pursuit concluded just after 11:10 p.m. near Garden Grove and Doman avenues in Tarzana.

The chase began after authorities reported the suspects running red lights and speeding through the area. CHP vehicles pursued the fleeing driver as they navigated residential streets, creating a dangerous situation for the community. In response, one CHP unit performed two PIT maneuvers back-to-back, ultimately forcing the vehicle to stop.

Following the vehicle halt, a driver and two passengers attempted to escape on foot through the neighborhood. Officers pursued and successfully apprehended all three suspects, with at least one being tackled during the attempted getaway.

The coordinated actions by CHP officers prevented further risk to residents and brought the chaotic pursuit to a safe conclusion. Authorities confirmed that all suspects were taken into custody without serious injuries, demonstrating the effectiveness of tactical pursuit maneuvers in urban environments.
