IDF Blows Up Massive Hezbollah Drone Tunnel in Southern Lebanon – Iranian Threat Neutralized!
The Israel Defense Forces have successfully demolished a major underground Hezbollah facility beneath the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon. The large complex, used to assemble, store, and launch Iranian-made drones, stretched over 200 meters in length and reached depths of more than 25 meters. It housed hundreds of weapons and launchers, representing a significant threat to Israeli civilians and security forces in the north.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz highlighted the operation’s importance in dismantling Hezbollah’s military capabilities. Israeli officials notified the United States and its representative in Lebanon prior to the strike, demonstrating transparency while prioritizing national security. The IDF has made clear that operations inside the security zone will continue until Hezbollah’s remaining infrastructure is fully neutralized.
This precision strike further weakens Hezbollah and its Iranian backers, who have repeatedly attempted to use southern Lebanon as a base for attacks against Israel. By taking proactive measures to destroy these advanced drone capabilities, the IDF is protecting northern communities and preventing future escalations. Israel remains committed to defending its borders with strength and determination.
