A high-speed police pursuit through London ended dramatically after officers stopped a driver who had been travelling at twice the speed limit and on the wrong side of the road.

Footage released by the Metropolitan Police shows the vehicle weaving dangerously through traffic, ignoring road rules, and putting other motorists at serious risk. Officers followed closely, waiting for the right moment to act.

The chase concluded when police executed a tactical maneuver, driving up against the fleeing car to bring it to a halt. Authorities confirmed the arrest of the driver, along with the seizure of drugs, cash, and phones.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson praised the operation, stating:
"Decisive police action is helping to remove drugs and dangerous drivers from London’s streets."
