Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced that the company is now producing some of the world’s most advanced artificial intelligence chips in the United States — less than a year after launching domestic manufacturing efforts.
“After less than a year, we’re now manufacturing the most advanced chips for AI here in the U.S.,” Huang said, emphasizing the speed of progress made possible by renewed investment in American industry. He credited President Donald Trump’s economic policies as a driving force behind the shift.
“All of this started with President Trump wanting to re-industrialize the U.S. His tariffs were a pressing agent in making this possible,” Huang added.
Industry analysts see Nvidia’s milestone as a major win for the administration’s push to bring high-tech manufacturing back to U.S. soil, strengthening supply chains and reducing dependence on foreign semiconductor production.
