President Donald Trump addressed the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza on Sunday, responding to questions from reporters about allegations of genocide and the region’s escalating food crisis.

Speaking briefly before boarding Marine One to return to Washington, D.C., the president emphasized that his administration is “watching very closely” and stressed the importance of maintaining stability while ensuring civilians receive aid.

“We’re aware of the situation. We're monitoring it. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and we’re going to continue supporting efforts to get food to the people who need it,” Trump said.

While Trump did not explicitly confirm or deny evidence of genocide, his comments suggest a measured response amid growing international scrutiny of Israel's military actions in Gaza.

The president’s remarks come as calls intensify from both international bodies and domestic critics urging Washington to reevaluate military aid and diplomatic support for Israel.
