Clashes erupted this morning during the evacuation of the Givat Tzur outpost in the Etzion Hills, southeast of Efrat, as Israeli security forces carried out a planned demolition and removal operation. The outpost, considered illegal under certain administrative rulings, faced resistance from settlers, some of whom attacked police and soldiers during the operation.

Police report that several Border Police officers were wounded, including one who was struck in the head by a rock. The violence escalated as dozens of individuals attempted to barricade themselves while hundreds more joined, throwing stones, iron rods, and other objects. Rioters also burned tires and vehicles, creating hazardous conditions for the security personnel on the scene.

The IDF and Civil Administration coordinated the evacuation to ensure the operation could proceed safely, despite the unrest. Six suspects were detained for their involvement in the violent clashes. Authorities emphasized that the operation was conducted in accordance with the law and aimed to minimize harm while enforcing government directives.
