A bachelorette party in Lake Tahoe took an unexpected turn when a bear wandered into the celebration, stunning the group of friends gathered for the occasion.

Madeline Krebs, who was attending the party on the southern side of Lake Tahoe, said the surprise guest climbed onto the kitchen counter before curiously inspecting a piano. Video footage shows the women scrambling to shoo the animal away while others banged on the window from outside in an attempt to distract it.

The bear eventually made its way out of the house, where it was soon joined by its mother. The encounter left the partygoers both shaken and amused, turning the celebration into a night to remember.
