President Donald Trump reaffirmed the United States' commitment to humanitarian support in Gaza but emphasized the need for broader international involvement.

"The U.S. is going to do more aid for Gaza," Trump said during a press conference at the White House on Monday, "but we'd like to have other countries participate. It's not a U.S. problem, it's an international problem."

The President pointed to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region and stressed that global partners must shoulder some responsibility for relief efforts, saying that it is no longer sustainable for the U.S. to act as the sole responder.

“We’ve done our part—and we’ll continue to do it—but this is a moment for the world to step up,” Trump added.

The remarks come amid renewed tensions in the Middle East and growing scrutiny over the flow of aid into Gaza. President Trump has previously voiced frustration that other countries, particularly in the region and Europe, have not contributed proportionately to aid relief.

The White House confirmed that the U.S. has already delivered tens of millions of dollars in humanitarian assistance in recent weeks. Still, the administration believes more can be done — especially by allies who share a strategic interest in regional stability.
