FAYETTEVILLE, NC — A high-speed police pursuit ended dramatically last week when the driver of a stolen vehicle crashed through the front doors of a local church in Fayetteville, authorities reported.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, the incident occurred as officers attempted to stop the vehicle, which had been reported stolen. During the pursuit, the driver lost control and barreled through the entrance of the church, causing significant property damage.
