A dramatic video captured the moment a large section of a public housing building in the Bronx suddenly collapsed following a gas explosion on Wednesday.

Footage posted by X user @IPA_plz shows the building’s ventilation shaft plunging to the ground in the Mott Haven neighborhood as debris filled the air.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported. Investigators are now assessing the structural damage and the cause of the explosion.
