Expert Warns Gaza Plan Creates Pathway to Next October 7

Dr. Dan Diker, President of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, has issued a sharp warning against the proposed 15-point Gaza framework. In an interview with GB News, Diker said the plan represents a dramatic departure from the original 20-point plan previously agreed upon by Israel and the United States. According to Diker, the new framework would allow Hamas to remain in power and store its weapons in warehouses to which it would still hold the keys. This arrangement, he argued, would leave Hamas functioning as both a governing authority and a terrorist organization inside Gaza.

Diker stated that such an outcome would create a clear pathway to the next October 7-style massacre. He insisted that any viable future arrangement must include the complete removal of Hamas as both a military and political force. “There can be zero tolerance for Hamas, either as a government or as a terrorist organization,” Diker emphasized. He warned that failing to achieve a fully demilitarized and deradicalized Gaza would simply prepare the ground for the next war. The difference between the original 20-point plan and the newer 15-point version, in his view, is the difference between ending the threat and managing its continuation.
