Emergency crews arrived quickly to treat the injured, most of whom suffered non-life-threatening injuries. However, several people were transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation.
NJ Transit confirmed the incident and said it is fully cooperating with authorities. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
