The footage, recorded by an Ohio State Police officer, highlights how rapidly winter conditions can turn routine travel into a serious hazard.

As freezing rain and snow coated the roadway, the officer watched helplessly as the first vehicle lost control and slid off the road. Moments later, a second vehicle, an SUV carrying four occupants, skidded in nearly the same spot, underscoring how treacherous the conditions had become. The incidents occurred in quick succession, leaving little time for intervention.
