BREAKING — Flags at the White House have been lowered to half-staff following President Trump’s proclamation honoring the Catholic students who lost their lives in Wednesday’s Minneapolis school shooting.

The move comes just hours after gunfire erupted at Annunciation Catholic Church and School, where at least two people were killed and up to 20 others wounded in one of the deadliest school-related shootings of the year.

In his proclamation, Trump called for the nation to mourn alongside the victims’ families and urged Americans to continue offering prayers. “Keep praying for these families. They’re going to need them,” he said.

The order applies to all federal buildings and military installations, with flags to remain at half-staff in remembrance of the victims.
