In a series of precise and coordinated operations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli Air Force successfully neutralized multiple Hamas terror squads operating in Gaza City.

According to military reports, one Hamas unit preparing to launch mortar and explosive attacks was struck by an airstrike before it could execute its plan. Shortly after, another cell that had fired a mortar—lightly injuring an Israeli soldier—was quickly located and eliminated by Israeli forces.

A third terror squad launched an anti-tank missile targeting IDF engineering units operating in the area. No injuries were reported, and within moments, the Israeli Air Force destroyed the launch site in a retaliatory strike.

The IDF emphasized that these operations demonstrate the military’s rapid-response capabilities and its commitment to protecting Israeli troops and civilians from ongoing terrorist threats.

These actions come amid continued hostilities in Gaza, where Israeli forces have maintained targeted operations to dismantle Hamas infrastructure and disrupt planned attacks. The swift neutralization of multiple squads underscores Israel’s strategic advantage and readiness in confronting militant activity within urban combat zones.
