The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that Division 210, under the command of Brigade 226, has been actively operating in southern Syria for the past two months in a series of targeted missions aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure.

According to the IDF, the operations have focused on locating and destroying weapons caches, disrupting terror networks, and arresting individuals linked to hostile activity against Israel. These missions are part of a broader effort to enhance security and prevent cross-border threats, particularly in the Golan Heights region.

Military officials reported that the joint efforts of Division 210 and Brigade 226 have led to the seizure of large quantities of weapons and equipment intended for use in attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces.

“The goal is clear — to eliminate threats before they reach our borders and ensure the continued safety of our citizens in the north,” an IDF spokesperson said.

The operations underscore Israel’s proactive defense strategy and its ongoing vigilance in maintaining stability along its northern frontier amid persistent regional tensions.
