WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump highlighted a recent maritime operation in which authorities seized a large quantity of illegal drugs, saying the swift action should serve as a warning to others.

“On the boat, you had massive amounts of drugs… they were hit. Obviously, they won’t be doing it again — and I think a lot of other people won’t be doing it again when they watch that tape,” Trump said.

He emphasized the importance of protecting U.S. borders and waterways from trafficking operations: “We have to protect our country, and we’re going to.”

While Trump did not provide specific details about the operation, the administration has repeatedly underscored its commitment to combating drug smuggling and reinforcing maritime security.
